I have a small claim against a supplier. I cannot afford to call him to a din torah if the subpoenas and court fees will be too high. The whole claim is just a few hundred bucks.
And ideas where I can turn to?
Is there the equivalent of a small claim court in beis din?

They were very professional. It's around $100 for a zoom session. And if it's really short and simple, they will give it to you for free. (Hint: if you disagree it won't be short and simple. If it's more like the type of shailah you would ask a Rav, were you both agree on all the facts and just don't know who's supposed to pay, it will be.)

I think beis din costs more than going to court, so maybe speak to your rav to see if you can go straight to small claims
The last time I filed in small claims (NJ) it was around $40 in fees, which I would have recovered had I won the case. We ended up settling the day before the hearing and they reimbursed my fees as well

There's a small beis din in Lakewood that deals with this and they offer zoom. It is under leading Rabbanim in Lakewood and has top Dayanim.

Yes. And that's the only cost you'll pay. It's extremely cheap, considering you're getting people to care about your case and to spend the time talking to you and the plaintiff

I'm not blaming them, but obviously I won't spend $75 on a small claim of a few hundred dollars.
