So question. 1: will it dip your income enough to make you eligible for govt programs?
2: apply for Fafsa. We got some low rate loans through fafsa that we are now repaying.

I actually went onto my state's snap website and without my income, we'd be eligible for around $650. Is that good?
I did register on FAFSA. Waiting for them to approve my account.

I went back to school this year. I took FAFSA loans to cover tuition. I think you can apply for additional loans for other expenses. I got a paid internship job which covers something and yes, we are barely pulling through. But I know its just temporary.

If you're going back to school for financial reasons, people take student loans to cover their expenses. That's what they're there for.
If the job you going for isn't actually going to be able to pay back the loans, that's something to think about now.

Make sure the field you're going into really has good earning potential and room for growth, and won't just leave you stuck in the lower middle class
And you're probably best off using BC until you graduate. I had a baby in grad school and it was really really difficult
