Can anyone share with me information about YTA girls in Jerusalem. The website makes it sound perfect for new olim, or those girls with English speaking backgrounds that need some more handholding and special attention- but I wonder what their screening process is like.. do they also take girls with emotional issues as well?

I dont know anyone personally who went there, but I know a few boys who went to the boys division and have heard only great things.

DS went to YTA boys. It's amazing. We were very happy there. His class was a wonderful group of boys. the principal really cares and the teachers are great.

Bumping this thread because I would love to hear more about the girls and boys YTA programs, if anyone on here knows...
Also, are there any similar schools in Jerusalem geared toward Olim?

Hi. My daughter goes there. She's pretty happy with it. Btw, it moved to Beit Shemesh.
Please ask me any questions you have, I'd be happy to answer.

Hi, looking from the posts on their facebook the school doesn’t look religious at all. Girls are wearing short skirts and Jean trousers, can anyone give information about it?
The name is Yerushalayim Torah Academy, but the clothing doesn’t present Torah students..? |
I used to work there. The girls are modern, but definitely from religious homes.

YTA girls are all wearing skirts over their pants. It's a religious school. Likely many will wear pants outside of school but in school they are definitely all wearing skirts.
It's located in bet shemesh.
Why not call them and take a tour?

The girls look like they’re forced to wear a skirt, not even doing it from passion or understanding and wearing short sleeved shirts. This is the most recent photos so idk |
Are you dati leumi? The girls in yta are not from charedi homes.
Do you live in israel?
Girls are allowed short hair cuts. Not sure what your getting at.
Dress code might be an issue, but again, its not realy for charedi girls.

Well then it sounds like it’s not for you? There are so many schools that have girls who wear just skirts and no pants.
In Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh.

I know dati leumi girls don’t follow the Halacha 100% but the school looked like they’re forced involved secular girls, not all but some. |
Please, stop. All girls in yta come from frum families.
Stop disparaging others. This school is very obviously not for your family.
Can you explain what was wrong with a short hsir cut?

I think you are possibly insulting many posters because dati leumi people believe that they follow halacha 100%. I don’t think you should word your postst like this if you expect help.
