What are school options for boys in Monsey? I'm looking for a yeshivish type of school.

In order of Yeshivishness I guess…
Bais Dovid
Degel
And then try your luck with the class for Cheders.
I wouldn’t say in general monsey is known for being Yeshivish. Just a lot of very solid bal habatish families Baruch Hashem.

Thank you! What is the starting age for the youngest class in these schools? I’m assuming kindergarten or nursery? Is there a specific playgroup that they send to before that, or just any playgroup?

They all start at kindergarten which is 4 year old I believe. Cut off is mid November so some schools may make you leave your child behind if he’s born after that.
Before that people send to small playgroups in homes or legal settings. A popular one is chofetz Chaim kinder/preschool (legal). You’re welcome to get in touch with me if you want more info. Feel free to DM me.
