What qualifications do u need for this. I'm a licensed therapist but it seems this is not enough for a school setting..

What do you mean? Google had lots of layoffs last year.

I’m guessing it depends on the state but in the state I live in you have to have a masters in school counseling. A licensed therapist would not have the right qualifications without a masters in school counseling. I’m assuming most states are like this but I don’t know for sure. Frum schools seem to liberally use the term “school counselor” (usually a social worker/professional counselor.)

for much of my working years I was in the top 2% of a direct sales company. I still sell the product and have a team but I work it VERY VERY part time now because my kids both got diagnosed with multiple special needs and my hours got eaten up by doctor and therapy appointments. As they got older and I was able to spend more time working I started assisting and subbing with the in home playgroups. I decided not to go back into full force with the company because it takes a lot of mental focus that I just don't have now. NOW, other than dealing with my kids, work is DONE by 4:00 for the day. If I WANT to work my business in the evening, I do (hell, I still like the money!). I also sell on ebay. All three things I do are flexible schedule and I can take time off when I need to. I took a month off this summer when I got very sick and I take days off now and then for my kids' appointments (going to a college visit with one twin this Wednesday--- she asked me to take her to lunch after--- shh, don't tell her twin I said yes!) I also babysit from time to time--- it's enough like playgroup subbing that it's flexible enough that I can say yes or no for particular dates and not feel guilty.
