My baby went to the Orthopedist for his arm the day after his bris. The doc said a routine hip check and opened the diaper quickly without realizing, pulled all bandages off. The look on his face was.... Bh all healed fine

Yes it happened twice with one of my younger boys. First time more bloody. Was scary and I called the mohel but after putting pressure, it stopped bleeding pretty quickly. Seems some kids bleed more and some mohelim use different kinds of bandages some tighter than others etc. I had a few boys and hadn’t had this so was nervous but a week or two later looked fully healed, BH.

It happened to my ds, bled for two weeks if we would take off bandage so we left it on and went to the er, it was my first time using this specific mohel and have to say that the other mohel we used for my older son helped us figure out there was an issue. We didn’t feel it was a good idea to speak to the mohel for my second son because we felt he wasn’t taking our concerns seriously. Bh we went to a great urologist(who happens to also be mohel) in town who said bh the Milah was moshe just lots of scarring from cutting too much :/. It was a very scary point in time and I also felt very lonely since I didn’t know who to go to. Baruch Hashem Hashem led us to the right people!
