There are a lot of gemachim but people usually use a two piece white outfit. You want the mohel to be able to take off the whole pants, not just flip up a stretchie. There’s also usually a matching blanket to wrap him in after. If you want to buy, lil legs has the cheapest, I think.

I don’t really want to have to run to a gemach, prefer to order.
Any of those gowns or convertible gowns?

people use a wide range of things.
Some people use a special bris outfit that doesn’t get used again, and some use a regular outfit (white, blue, yellow, or any other color) that they use as an outfit afterwards. (my sisters did this)
It doesn’t need to be a gown of any type. the mohel will either open the bottom or take off the pants.

I use a pretty white nightgown. Easier process and the baby is so bundled up anyhow, so you don't even see it. I stick with a pretty hat and get a fancy pillow/ swaddle from a gemach.

Knit 2 piece from a Gemach, came with a pillow and all the bris necessities the mohel wanted like A&D, Neosporin etc. That plus not having to wash the blood and wine stains off the outfit made it well worth it for me. Especially if you have any local friends or relatives that can do pick up and drop off.

Get a shirt and pants outfit. Mohelim seem to prefer it.
Also a hat, the baby should have his head covered during the bris. I didn't know, so our Sandek covered his head with a corner of his tallis.
Many Bris gemachim provide the pillow, outfit, swaddling blanket, extra diapers, and so on. It really takes a load off.

For my last one, I got this https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ger.....54579
I had a gown that I had for my previous boys that was originally my nephew's but I wanted a little more warmth and I used this with the gown on top so I had a matching hat, covered legs before the bris and I guess sometime after to bring the baby home. Actually looks nice even though it's not a "knit" fabric.

Looks great. Do you put anything underneath? Like one of those half onesie things?

I think I did use a full onesie (an undershirt that snaps) and just rolled it up with the gown after taking off the pants.
