Costco in Monsey was over $4, but I was hesitant to buy since they just had a massive recall due to confirmed salmonella.

All other non-Jewish stores near me were over $5/dozen. Even bingo was almost $5.50.

And I can’t even do beans due to allergies ☹️

Aldi had for under 4

Might be worth it to pay for delivery from a cheaper store if you use a lot of eggs.

Walmart+ delivery is about $10 for an 18 CT in Los Angeles.
9 at my Vons
13 at Kroger.

6 for a 12 CT at target.

Oh my goodness. Guess we limit what we bake now. And husband just lost job...so down to one income in this crazy expensive city.

One store by me had a dozen on $ale from 6.99 to 5.99; while another store had them at $4.99.
Its expensive everywhere, but try to shop around.
Try minimizing how many eggs you use until prices go down and substitute with other proteins.

I know
But they had a few recalls in a row. So I got scared off. I’m also pretty picky with my food, so I may be extreme in being turned off 🤷‍♀️.

Where is aldi in Monsey area?

What other proteins?

We used 2 dozen eggs just for Shabbos last week... (2 kugels, brownies, matzah balls, baked oatmeal) aside for the hard boiled eggs I made for myself.

I placed an instacart order from Costco Brooklyn as eggs were 8.50 for 2 dozen.
They were sold out and instead I was sent brown organic eggs for 9.50.
Otherwise, locally it was $7 a dozen.

Do you live near a Trader Joe’s? Their eggs are $3
I go once a month and stock up for a few weeks
I refuse to pay $6 per dozen eggs it’s insanity

Just saw the comments about Costco, I will check it out. I think it’s about the same price though

I paid $1.62/dozen or $2.38 for 1.5 dozen at Lidl last week. Just checked online and the price hasn’t changed.
Check each Aldi you go to, different stores have the same eggs for different prices.
