Looking for a tried and true recipe for meatballs that doesn't include eggs (or oats)

Make a sauce and pour into 9×13
Create balls and put them in the pan
Cover each ball with sauce
Bake

I never mix anything into the meat. I shape into balls and stick them in the pot with the sauce.

You don't need all of that. I just put spices into mine. They hold up fine and are juicy.

Use a grated potato and spices!!
Meatballs are moist and soft.

You don't need to mix anything I'm with the meat- just create balls and it soaks up flavor from the sauce

Officially my recipe says 1 hour but I always find I need more, I'm not sure if the reason is my oven or the size if the meatballs
You can cut one down the middle to check doneness if you're unsure the first time doing it this way
