Is owning a doona worth it? What’s the pros and cons?

either the doona or the shyft.
but completely worth the money for me.
if you don’t have a car, then this is a different situation, but if you go in/out of your car daily with the baby, then it is worth the money
there are “barely used” ones on facebook marketplace.
be careful you aren’t getting scammed, but I got my newest one for $250.
It was barely used.

I think it really depends on what your living arrangement and transportation life are. I bought mine on sale for $399 a number of years ago and bh have been able to use it for 2 babies (prob will expire by the next one iyh). It’s been amazing because I live in a huge apt building with an elevator so in and out of the car is so much easier with the one step process vs having to take out a snap n go each time. Very convenient for errands running in and out of stores, doctors apts etc.
If you live somewhere where you’re mostly riding buses or in any apt building without an elevator or a lot of steps, it may not be as helpful.

Definitely worth it if you are in and out of the car often.

Yes, I love it, worth every penny.
It’s not the best position for baby for prolonged periods of time but if I need 5 min to finish cooking supper and baby is screaming I put baby in till I finish..

Yes love it. Amazing in and out of the car! And to take along anywhere when you need a stroller and car seat.
Cons-it’s very heavy, and not easy to buckle in without a base. If you’re using as a stroller, it’s a pretty awful stroller. And not great for the baby.
