PLANT EXPERTS: Which 4' tall Real Ficus (or similar) Trees last?

Id like to buy a 4' tall Real Ficus (or similar) Tree, reasonably, to use as an indoor plant, but the ones on Home Depot have bad reviews, they say the trees arrive dead, or close, and if not, the leaves fall off quickly. The trees dont last.

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Br.....92962

What should I buy and where? The area where Id put it, gets a lot of light.

I had one. Stunning. It died a quick death as I am a plant killer unfortunately. Sorry, I know this wasn’t helpful.

There is a Tree place that advertises in the Lakewood Shopper(I will try to look for mine)that I heard of people buying trees from them.
Maybe try them for advise.

There are a lot of catalogs that sell trees with a guarantee that if they die within a year they will replace them. Big Box stores are not a good place to buy trees.

Thanks. I went to Gasko in Monroe, NJ. Its a huge nursery.

They only had Xmas trees and said if I want a house plant, to go to Home Depot or Lowes. They only bring houseplants in, in the spring.

Most places like Gasko in NJ shut down from January to March, so if you went there now they where closing down.
I was in the Howell Lowes a few weeks ago and did not see any house trees that were not for X-mas. I would not buy from them right now because at this time of year all they would have is the left overs.

Trees are sold two times a year in the Spring and Fall.
Even if you order a tree now from a catalog most places are not shipping out until spring.
There are a lot of catalog's that sell trees you can go through them and see if they will send you a house tree at this time of year.
