Any ideas? I want to get DS a Far Side type book for Chanuka. He needs to think of his actual present, but I wanted to also get something as a surprise. Are there any similar comic strip type books at there that are clean- for teenage boy? Or actually any other ideas for a small present?

We're a fairly left wingy family so some of this might be too much for your kiddo but my teens read..... Garfield, Peanuts, Zits, Baby Blues, Calvin and Hobbes, Foxtrot. Garfield and Peanuts are the most pareve with zero references to anything inappropriate but the rest--- buyer beware.

Calvin and Hobbes is your best bet. If you are ok with the cleanliness level of the Far Side, C and H should be fine.

My kids have read every Calvin and Hobbes book until the books literally fell apart.
They dressed up as Calvin and
Hobbes (with toddler daughter as Susie Derkins, complete with Mr Bun plushie) for Purim one year.
We are huge fans.

Something a little different is The Kichels. My son whos read all the Calvin and Hobbs, Garfield, and a lot of far side, really enjoys the Kichels as well
