What gifts do parents give their daughter for bas mitzvah?
Im thinking a nice shabbos watch.
Is $200-$300 to much?
What brands are girls wearing?
First time making a bas mitzvah.
Any help?
Thank you!!

We splurged and gave a Shabbos necklace in $4-$500 range.
Heimish Bais Yaakov type
In general we live simply and don't buy lavish gifts for birthday , chanukah, afikomin- more like in $20 range.
To me, buying a real piece of jewelry that will last her is a meaningful investment for a momentus occasion.
I still wear the real gold jewelry I got from my grandmother 25+ years ago!! (It was too mature for me then and has been back in style for the last few years)
I really don't know what her friends got.
A nice watch in your price range is a beautiful gift

One of her grandmothers already said she will be getting her a jewelry piece. I am not sure what.
One of her friends got a michelle watch 😳 I am not spending that amount. And next year is graduation so I can always get a nice jewelry piece then.

Don’t know community. But Michelle watches in $200 range are in style for bas mitzvah girls. Can find on off Saks or Nordstrom rack at that price point.

Something like this

https://www.nordstromrack.com/.....aw.ds

Right now I only see one but often there are a few choices under 300 they come and go on sale

Thanks for the link.
I see its a weekday watch.
Im talking about shabbos watches. Any nice michelle is close to $1,000.
I would never spend that on myself!

I'm sorry. Didn't mean to put any pressure. Just answered that I don't think $2-300 is too much.
My daughter got a metal swatch watch from her aunts but also more weekday style.
Not sure what a Shabbos watch would be at this age.
You can get pretty earrings or a ring within your price range.

Thanks for your answers.
I found a pretty watch that I hope she will like.
I honestly feel like with all the gorgeous costume jewelry these days it almost doesnt pay to get real real. 🤷🏻‍♀️
