I don't change, but I wear ts or sweatshirts and maxi skirts all day. I wash daily. I only wear clothing that can go into the wash machine and dryer.

what’s a housetop and how does it differentiate from a top you wear out of the home?

House tops would be comfy sweatshirts in the winter and casual t-shirts in the summer. I might put a coat on in the winter without getting ‘dressed’ but that’s only if I do a quick grocery run and not somewhere that I would take my coat off.

Yes, I always cook my regular clothes and Spray with a stain remover, even if a few stains usually come out. If I’m doing something with a lot of oil, I try and put on an apron, but I don’t know if you remember. Like to look at my best at home. I’m not not a fancy dresser, Definitely put together

I do cook in my clothes I wore the whole day, but I change and wash my clothes every day and I also don't wear fancy clothes at all because I work in daycare.

I was brought up by a mom who had separate clothes for housework, working at her day job in an office, working at her night job, and for going shopping and doing other "outside" things. The rule was when you came home you changed into "house" clothes to keep your "outside" clothes from getting messed up. Worked for me then and still works for me now. My "house" garb is usually something "outside" that got stained or worn, or very occasionally something bought in a thrift shop for the purpose. It saves wear and tear on my good clothes, which is good because I hate-hate-hate shopping for clothes.

Also once upon a time I wore suits and dressy blouses to work. No way would I do anything in the house in that getup!

I always cook in the same clothes I wore all day. Everything I wear is machine washable, and I usually don't get dirty when I cook.

I do. But then I wonder why almost all my clothes have at least one oil stain. Can't Believe It

Exactly me- too lazy to change after work but I am the messiest cooker and hate wearing an apron
Gradually learning to change before I cook- somehow even just throwing spices on chicken gets me dirty somewhere

My cute pair of striped blue and white sandals I managed to stain right on the thin white stripe with tomato sauce. Can't get it out

I can't bear the the thought of cooking in my work or going out clothes or sheitel. The problem is that when I buy myself new house clothes, as long as they're new I have a hard time wearing them to cook or clean in....so I find myself wearing them for when I'm not doing too much and then I change into my old worn clothes to get stuff done. It's crazy, I know but once they get that first stain or splatter, they're officially good to go.....
