you think she is still hungry? she eats about ounces there is a 4 hour stretch because she isnt hungry to eat before then.. I give her chicken soup since that is what my dr reccomended. I give ehr prunes and pairs too blended.
I see a bunch of different opinions here not sure which to take. Should I maybe add more solids in between a morning feeding?maybe I should wait for my 6 month checkup to ask dr. Today I gave her mashed up banana in between morning feeding so I can see how that goes.I was thinking to do rice cereal by bedtime? I breatfeed but itd all pumped bottles how often is she supposed to eat it used to be 3 hours now its 4. If she was hungry during the day she lets me know.

Give her milk period. I don’t see any different opinions here. Solids before 1 are for play not for food. You are starving her both in the night and during the day. If she wakes up in the night give her a bottle or nurse.

Please give her more breastmilk or formula.
Why are you giving her so much real food? She doesn't need it at this age yet & isn't making her full enough. You can give solids/real food IN ADDITION to her regular feedings of breastmilk/formula. Not instead of.

I think call your doctor now and ask-you don't have to wait a month.

In terms of eating at night, it's normal for a 5 month old to wake up at least once a night. You should offer your baby a bottle/nurse when they wake up.
In terms of solid foods during the day, my doctor says to start offering some baby food at 4 months once a day and gradually increasing to twice a day. It's not to fill them up, just give them the experience of eating. By 6 months it should be twice a day and increasing to 3 times a day by 9 months. (But still most of the nutrition is from formula or breastmilk.)

My 5 month old recently is acting up in the middle of the night. For a little while she would go to sleep at 730 and wake up at 5 to eat now she sometimes wakes up earlier screaming to breast feed sometimes I let her cry and sometimes I give in. I really would want her to sleep 730 to 7 or something like that. She eats in the morning when she gets up or in middle of night too then again at 11 and then 3 and then 530 chicken soup and then at 7 last feeding (all pumped milk). Do you think shes hungry? she eats between 7-8 ounces. Should I put rice milk in her last feeding? what should I do to get her slepe better?

definitely do baby cereal, it will keep your baby full for longer. I do this for the feeding right before bed. what you can also do is a dream feed, which is basically feed her at 11 pm, or whenever you are about to go to sleep. this way her 7 hour stretch is when u are sleeping too.
