My 5 month old recently is acting up in the middle of the night. For a little while she would go to sleep at 730 and wake up at 5 to eat now she sometimes wakes up earlier screaming to breast feed sometimes I let her cry and sometimes I give in. I really would want her to sleep 730 to 7 or something like that. She eats in the morning when she gets up or in middle of night too then again at 11 and then 3 and then 530 chicken soup and then at 7 last feeding (all pumped milk). Do you think shes hungry? she eats between 7-8 ounces. Should I put rice milk in her last feeding? what should I do to get her slepe better?

I don’t know if she’s hungry, but it’s normal for babies do this.

5 months is tiny. It's so normal for them to wake at night. Please don't let her cry.

A 5 month old is NOT supposed to sleep 12 hours straight through the night. Please do not let her cry, that is not okay.
If you think she may not be getting full from nursing, supplement with formula & not with chicken soup. It also doesn't seem like she eats often enough throughout the day. She may be very hungry.

Try giving her another meal of solids during the day. I started doing lunch and dinner with mine. But you can do whenever works for you. Do you nurse her to sleep at night or is she awake when you put her in her bed?
I’m trying to deal with the same thing with mine. She was waking up once to eat at night and then started waking up more often. I made some changes and so far there has been nice improvements.

Another meal of solids for a five month old? I was surprised she even wrote her baby is eating chicken soup already. Babies at this age need more breast milk.
Op it’s totally normal for a five month old to wake up multiple times a night to breastfeed. Please don’t let her cry.
Also you wrote she eats at 11am and then at 3? That seems like a very long stretch. Breastfed babies should be nursed every 2-3 hours
Editing to add now I see you wrote she eats when she wakes up (around 7am?) and then again at 11. Then again at 3 and after that the next breastmilk she gets is at 7? So if she’s getting breastmilk every 4 hours she’s definitely still hungry

you think she is still hungry? she eats about ounces there is a 4 hour stretch because she isnt hungry to eat before then.. I give her chicken soup since that is what my dr reccomended. I give ehr prunes and pairs too blended.
I see a bunch of different opinions here not sure which to take. Should I maybe add more solids in between a morning feeding?maybe I should wait for my 6 month checkup to ask dr. Today I gave her mashed up banana in between morning feeding so I can see how that goes.I was thinking to do rice cereal by bedtime? I breatfeed but itd all pumped bottles how often is she supposed to eat it used to be 3 hours now its 4. If she was hungry during the day she lets me know.

A five month old who is waking up during the night does not need and shouldn't be forced to sleep for 12hrs straight! I do not think that baby is getting enough feeds during day considering you want her sleeping all night...
Definitely do not put rice in bottle before just feed baby more often and accept night feeds for as long as needed

Poor baby is crying cuz she needs you. Please don’t let her cry it out when crying is the only form of communication she has.
Regressions and teething is just starting. You can’t get them to sleep perfectly for good for a few years.

Just feed her whenever she cries. Even in middle of the night. Does she breastfeed directly from you or you only pump and give her bottles?

I find babies who start teething —and this can last months— might be agitated even at night.
Do you see drooling or dripping from nose
