Yeah I feel like she is a bit young for mother’s helping.. at the same time I need her help in my house with my younger kids.. But I guess thats always the conundrum when it comes to kids earning money as they get older?

Im just thinking.. I have some elderly neighbors, maybe she can do something for them?

Then again, where does Chesed come into the picture?

I give my 4 year old money when he learns alef beis and nekudos and he almost knows to read. I'm planning to give him money when he's older for learning Mishnayos by heart.

I started offering my 8 yo prize or the money it costs. I like him to understand the value of things.

Our littles and their friends cleaned out the cars (nothing major, just emptied all the garbage into sacks and tidied and then vacuumed the insides) - earned themselves a few dollars.

It wasn't too difficult and gave them a good sense of earning money and then spending that, a whole different feel than spending someone else's money. Also a task I wouldn't expect them to do whereas they do have holdhold chores (not too many but I don't want to confuse those by having payment for some and not for others).
