Were these fraternal twins?

Yes. My water broke at 33 weeks and I had a c-section because baby A was breech. One was 4.3 and one was 4.9.

Not fraternal twins but my mono di twins were delivered at 36 weeks. The doctor considered letting them go another week but I was done…. No sign of labor and technically I was fine. They were 4.8 and 5.4 no NICU bh!
Just curious, I would think they should be more or less the same weight?

Mine only break when I am almost pushing usually.

My first was after 12 hours early labor, the rest yes before labor started.

Actually mono di twins are often different weights despite the babies being identical as that means they share a placenta and blood flow. Often one baby gets more “nutrition” and better blood flow than the other. My identicals are now five and the larger twin is still much larger. They really don’t look that alike because of the size dif… they wear dif size clothes etc.

Following.
I'm 31.5 weeks with fraternal twins now.
Do t know how I'll make it to 38 weeks- I'm huge.
My dr also said they won't let me go past 38 weeks.
Right now baby a is breech so looking at a c section but hoping it flips...

I hope your baby turns!
I'm only 21 weeks but am really hoping to avoid a csection.

Emergency c-section at 36 weeks (HELLP syndrome). I otherwise would have had a planned c-section at 38 weeks.

Bshaa tova!
