Neither of us get real bonuses. I get a chocolate platter or something like that once or twice a year as a thank you. My husband gets $100 or $200 once or twice a year.
Neither of us makes very much. We both work for frum companies.

According to my contract I’m eligible for a small bonus based on my personal performance and company performance.
My own performance is always over 100%. The company performance never meets their goals so it cuts my bonus in half. My dh jokes that they haven’t learned by now - they just do it to cut out bonuses.
Taxes are also double on bonuses so they never seem as exciting in the end as they started out.

Why are taxes double on bonuses?
My job pays bonuses quarterly based on output. It adds up to a few percent of the salary I think, I'm not really sure. I have to learn the system because I'm still relatively new.

bonuses are “supplemental wages.” and treated differently then regular income.
Also my employer pays part of the taxes on my income but I pay 100% taxes on my bonuses.
Officially company prizes and awards are also taxed. My company has an award/gift system. Thankfully they pay out taxes on that.

My DH gets bonuses bh before Sukkos & Pesach between $1000-$2500 depending how many years in it slowly went up. Plus small gift packages here and there. They also have employee appreciation parties around the holidays for the non-Jewish workers which is really nice. Employee appreciation is a top priority in his company and they really invest quite a lot in showing appreciation. They also have Rosh Chodesh lunch and Thursday Cholent.
My current job is remote so I get nothing, when I worked in office they occasionally gave out a cake around certain holidays, and occasional lunches usually others sponsored for a simcha/yartzheit.
Other jobs previously had Rosh Chodesh lunch and or small bonuses but only after working a certain amount of time.
Many offices do sponsor Rosh Chodesh lunch, many offices don’t but I wonder if it’s an equal mix since I know it’s quite common.

I have always worked for non-profits. When I worked at my first school, I got $36 Chanukah time. When I worked at a non-Jewish non-profit, I got nothing ever. Now at my second school I get an $80 gift certificate at a local grocery before RH. (I would prefer if they would give it before Pesach, which is when I could use it much more but I try not to look the gift horse in the mouth.)
We are expected to be thankful for that and for the fact that we get paid on time.

Not an OT, but an also healthcare adjacent. I have gotten $3, literally. It is typically given in the form of a Starbucks or Dunkin gift card with $3 on it saying “thank you, please have a coffee/donut/breakfast on us”
This year I got 25,000 Achiever Points -which can be redeemed on the Achiever website for a gift card. Just you you understand the exchange rate, it’s $25 if you select a treif restaurant/movie/sephora/Home Depot/Gap gift card. I would need about 4,000 more points for Amex or visa. (This job is 32 hours a week)
My other job, which is per Diem Homecare, at our last Teams meeting, the department supervisor took a screenshot of all of us with our cameras on and made it into a Shutterfly magnet which she sent to us with a holiday card. She then followed up with an email hoping we enjoyed the gift and how much fun she had making it and how proud she is of the team. I’ll take that $3 gift card!
When I come on this site, I seriously feel like I live in an ultimate universe. FYI, for the record, with my masters degree I make under 40 an hour and pay heavily into my health insurance.

That's a lot of schooling for that level of income. If you had it to do over again, would you still want those degrees (and the time, effort, $$ that went into earning them?

Yes.
I wish I was better paid, but I love what I do and can’t imagine doing something else. I have a lot of pride and satisfaction in the quality of care I provide my patients. I don’t have the skill set (or interest) to be an entrepreneur, computer programmer, or corporate lawyer. I don’t live in a frum bubble with inflated salaries, this is industry standard. I truly don’t understand the salaries here, particularly without an education, especially if you look on things like Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter, or the US Bureau of labor and wage statistics.

We get very minimal bonuses.
As a manager I get some extra paid time off (like 8 hours) and less than $1000 annually.

Wow. This is making me really appreciate my company.
I make a great salary, but I also receive large bonuses YT time (Sukkos, Pesach, and Chanuka) I'm talking around $2-3k.
The owner of my company is a well known Gvir. I'm assuming that's why.
