So which other flavors are good? I think I’ll make a trip for some. 🍩

It’s worth the trip. I can’t advise on flavors because I don’t know your taste but here are our family reviews. The lemon is an experience and you have to buy one. We had the strawberry white chocolate and it wasn’t a favorite. We’re cheesecake lovers but some didn’t like their cheese. Some raved about the pistachio but I didn’t find it special. Kids loved the Oreo. Buy one plain custard with chocolate icing that everyone else makes so you can see theirs is best. Come back to imamother to agree the lemon was the best thing you ever ate and join me on the diet threads next week.

Are all the Sesame donuts the same price?

And which flavors do Imas think are the best flavors that Sesame makes, after the lemon?

Did anyone not like the Lemon donuts?

I don't care for lemon. If you like peanut butter then they have a delicious one. I don't go for peanut butter either but I tasted it and it was very good. I still need to try the lotus I can see myself loving it.
The oreo is dairy or pareve? I wonder if it's something I'd go for. I'm so tempted to buy a few after tasting the others. I'm going to challenge myself with self control. Will see how the day goes.....

I really enjoyed the white chocolate and the lotus. Both dairy I believe. Their dairy ones were the best! I didn’t try the peanut butter, but it was a big hit in my house. The rosemary was parve and not my favorite. But in general, I really love their donuts. And I would totally want to try more flavors.

I really wanted to try the lemon, but the rosemary chocolate was such a let down that I just shelved donuts until next year chanukah. I really did not like the donut dough so what difference would it make if the flavor was different.

How do they compare to Tam Eden? I saw them advertise that Sesame is selling them next to Evergreen now.

I love both however this year I think Taam Edens was superior, fluffier and not as doughy as Sesames. Also sesames fillings are more runny chocolate/icing like while Taam Edens dairy fillings are all cream cheese based.

I don't love them. They seem to be thick and bready inside, like they're baked before they are fried. Also the products used for dairy fillings seems to be subpar- taste like whip and marg.

Someone just told me sesame donuts are selling for $2.75 at the gas station in Monroe. Maybe it's the same elsewhere?

She just brought me the lemon one. I had half and it was MUCH better than the rosemary chocolate one I had. The donut texture was very good. So maybe it is hit and miss like everything and the first donut I got was not fresh? I don't know, this $2.75 donut was very very good.

Haha.

I passed up the lemon! Should I go back? Very Happy

We got the strawberry, white chocolate, halva, caramel. Did anyone try the pretzel one?

Yes! The salted caramel pretzel is my favorite! ( We bought a bunch and cut them up so we can try each flavor) White chocolate was great, cheese was great, the lemon was finished before I got to try it. Strawberry I thought was very artificial candy like but my sister loved it..

Had a taste testing with them last night. We had the Oreo, caramel and custard. Oreo was not what we were expecting at all.
The other 2 were very good. But there was very little filling in them.
I do have to say that the dough was very good. But not outstandingly better than other companies we’ve had. I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy sesame over other companies that are cheaper.
