I just started this parsha with myDS. He is MO Machmir. I s it appropriate to give the shadchanim who have been giving him resumes a Chanukah gift ?If so how much? My Ds suggested $72 is that too little too much. I asked my friends who date yeshivish and they said they don't give but maybe things are different in MO circles.

I have never given Chanukah gifts to Shadchanim, though I did give gifts in some situations to Shadchan/friend who tried alot on my daughter's behalf....

I think as far as a business relationship is concerned, the consensus is they don't receive this type of gift.
But if you have a personal relationship with her, that's something else entirely.
