I love Chanukah, I love love love the winter. I feel sad and down that chanukah is over. Now all the stores will start advertising S/S 25. I'm so not up to it... My neighbor said the word Pesach cleaning this morning. Cheer me up please.

I know the feeling. And here in Lakewood I’m almost too late for booking Daycamps. Wish we cud just breath and not jump to simmer yet before the winter even started

There is no excuse for discussing Pesach now. I would have turned around and walked away. Zero tolerance for such behavior.

Chanuka's almost over but winter has barely begun. The worst-- which for you is apparently the best--is yet to come.

I like the summer too, but I feel that in order to enjoy the summer, it costs me a lot more money. Camps for kids (not an option), country (it is an option, but I need social life, and here in BP it's so quiet in my area). I want the pool, it costs a fortune. Winter is routine, everyone is here, I have my social life, I have everything I need without breaking the bank.
Just another thought...

Just because department stores are showing beachwear doesn't mean it's flipflop season, any more than the fact that department stores were selling tinsel, fake evergreens and red ribbons in August meany that it was ski-sweater season. The fashion industry is always two seasons ahead of the calendar.

I love winter also. So much easier and more enjoyable than summer

I'm just savoring every day until we change the clock. I hate when the daytime lasts forever
