Hi ! Does anyone have any sample schedules of how/what much they’re feeding their 12 month olds? I’m unsure of how much milk to give at each feeding and when . Also ideas of food/snacks to give.
so far I’ve given bamba, yogurts, bananas, apple sauce, salmon, chicken, soups etc, I just need easy recipes or healthy snack options for day- day basis. Or if someone can share how much they’re feeding baby at each meal and how often etc. Dr said to go down to 16 oz of dairy/milk.

Thank you in advance !!

Just feed the baby whatever you're eating. They don't need special food. Give milk as they want.

Issue is I don’t really have such a healthy diet in terms of eating meals at specific times etc and will have foods like salads that are too hard for my baby to chew. I’m also not home with the baby throughout the day. So I need lunch ideas to pack when sending to babysitter .

Lots of sample meal plans if you Google.
Here is what we often do for my child who is few months older:

Wakeup - 6-8 oz milk

Breakfast maybe an hour later - fruit (banana or half an orange, cut), greek yogurt, maybe a bit of dry cereal

Nap

Lunch - scrambled eggs, whole grain crackers, fruit especially if he did not have with breakfast

Snacks as needed - rice cakes, breadstick crackers, applesauce pouch, string cheese

Dinner - usually chicken or fish, some cooked vegetables, sometimes bread

Bottle before bed

Keep in mind that babies and kids learn to eat from how you eat

My daughter is a few months older, but this was roughly her food at 12 months
She has 2, 8 ounce bottles one when she wakes up and one before bed
Breakfast either oatmeal with applesauce, yogurt & dry cereal, eggs and snackers, cereal in milk

Lunch - I send to a babysitter so a lot of sandwiches she breaks up into small pieces for her, favorites are peanut butter or chumus. I sometimes send a string cheese, or half an avocado. Other things I send are cottage cheese, slightly mashed chick peas/ lima beans. Usually with a fruit, bananas are easy.

Snacks bamba, corn pops, veggie straws, fruit, string cheese, avocado, apple sauce

Dinner - usually whatever we are having. I do usually have leftover chicken soup with lots of veggies and chicken so always baby friendly. My baby also likes chulent so usually freeze leftovers in small containers so I always have some on hand. Sometimes I will open a can of baked beans if nothing else works or make a scrambled egg

So strange! I literally just googled “what to feed 1 year old” and then I opened imamother and saw this thread!
This is my fourth and I’m still nervous about what to feed her. I just get scared she’s hungry, although I still nurse on demand
I never gave baby food, I either make my own or I just feed her whatever the rest of the family is eating. I was just worrying, like you, that she’s not hungry at lunchtime because I sometimes skip lunch and I’m going to be leaving her with a babysitter soon.
So thanks for this thread!!

Breakfast is usually Cheerios and banana. Maybe yogurt.
Daycare lunch: mix and match bits of cheese, pasta, veggies like steamed peas, green beans, broccoli, carrots, squash (I buy frozen and microwave), canned beans, fruit (melon, berries, pear, cooked apple, whatever is in season/available).
Dinner: whatever we're eating, plus supplements from the above foods if it's not baby friendly.
Other lunch options: toast with PB/cream cheese/ avocado, pizza, bits of sandwich, healthy muffins, scrambled or boiled eggs, etc.

As far as the milk, I start cutting down on milk gradually, like 1 feeding every few days/ week, and add extra snacks so they're eating more solids.
