Let them rise on the counter for around 4 hours. Deep fry in oil 2 minutes on each side, I use a thermometer but you can google for ways to tell if the oil is ready without one. We buy the donut fillers for fillings like custard and jelly, make glazes put out some confectioners sugar and they’re yum!

I made the Rhodes doughnuts last night, they were delicious. They need to be eaten pretty soon after frying.
Pizza dough is usable but will not be as light and fluffy.

When letting it rise flour tops and bottoms and cover. Otherwise they stick.
Personally I prefer when they rise less than 4 hours. Otherwise I feel like they rise too much.
Defrost them - sit and rise for a 4-5 hours. (I prefer under 4 hours) flour tops and bottoms.
fry them in oil at 350F
5-6 seconds on each side
Powder with sugar
Inject with jelly or any of your favorite filling
Ice with confectionary sugar icing.

If you put each ball on a small square piece of parchment paper you don't need to flour them. You can fry it with the paper, it will loosen and you just toss it

Also aldi pizza dough has hechsher (obv check regularly). Other pizza doughs that have a hechsher are pizza buddy and Pepe’s. These may be available in chain grocery stores.

You can also use Rhodes dough in loaf form and just cut it into pieces once thawed.

Yes, fried dough is Mezonos.
(Some say if you are planning on eating doughnuts as the base of a meal you should really wash on real bread first, though.)
