My sister got married in a hotel but it wasnt for uniqueness. It was OOT. It was so my grandparents didnt have to travel. There is a party planner that I think belongs to the hotel who knows frum weddings.

This hall used to have frum weddings until Lakewood halls became a thing and it was more worth it to pay for flghts and accomodations.

OOT, you often get hotel venues that make an association with a specific caterer. But that's not random.

An issue not mentioned yet is layout. Think about where each part of the wedding will take place, how much walking is involved between them and what type (stairs, grass, etc). Do you have relatives this will be an issue for? All hotels have elevators, but they may br a bit of a walk each way from where you are going. Are you good with the time issue? I have been places it took a solid five to ten minutes or more to get from the badeken to the chuppah, through what are normally wide enough hallways and staircases for conventions but not chasunahs.

And do people need to pass through regular hotel space as they do so? Is the area you would be using basically it's own section? What would the plan be for a mechitza during the meal/dancing, and would you be good with it for both halachah and aesthetics and not taking up too much of the small fance floor, and would the hotel agree? Will they give you trouble for the dancing expanding off of the dance floor on the carpet if/when the floor is too small? It can be done, but things to think about.

ETA last note- if it's a beautiful land place and you want to hold the chuppah outside, go there on the day of the week and time you would want and stand in that area and listen. Do you hear a lot of traffic, boat horns, people shouting and splashing, other music, etc.

This is part of why the covid backyard weddings didn't continue. My dd always wanted to have her wedding in our backyard and we have enough space. But everyone I know who made a backyard wedding during covid had so much stress and paid similar prices to a Lakewood takana wedding, even though they were really small weddings.
