There is no average. There are program around the world and the prices vary greatly.

Yes there was a story last year. And I heard the same guy had a chanuka program and it was just cancelled.

Wherever you choose to go verify before if it’s legit and how happy people were.

If you want a place that’s not a glorified inn, has an abundance of food without pushing, more than one pool, a decent sized lobby with seating and adequate bathrooms, and not overcrowded you will be paying close to 20k this year per room, double occupancy.

If you go for a no frills program in a glorified motel 6 you will find cheaper.

Wow. Farther from the truth. Majority of local hotel programs do not have more than 1 pool. They have separate swim hours and that’s it.
There are programs which are $10-$14k per room that are beautiful well run programs.
Plentiful food, Beautiful spreads, many many frills, nightly buffets etc. Not every program out there is high end, nor is every program trying to be high end. Many many successful established programs that are moderate priced (subjective).
Keep in mind this year because the first Seder is motzei shabbos, majority of programs will be approx $1500.00 ++ more than previous years because there is a full extra day.

Omg where was that program going to be? I was looking into a hotel program for shabbos chanuka, must be so frustrating for the ppl who signed up! Did he advertise under his name? Why would ppl bother booking with him?

What name/business name did he advertise under this time?
I'm trying to figure out how people can protect themselves.
