Would you hire someone who is struggling financially to be an administrator of a million dollar business? Me neither.
I don't know anyone who became rich because they are an administrator.
In any case I hope it's a well paid job because it isn't an easy one.

To add to this thread. Satmar BP is way more tuition. I wonder if his promise includes my kids teachers/rebbeim.
No where near the $175 or $225 numbers quoted upthread.

No. Doesn’t bp have any rich people? Also I think the bigger Satmar in bp is aronim.

My father in law paid into ben gamla for many years and his brothers kids were sent home for non-payment. He told them to apply his payments to his nephew's tuition and he was told ס'ארבעט נישט אזוי. That day he canceled his payments and paid his brother's bill. He has to the best of my knowledge never given them any money on top of tuition since.

This level of philanthropy? No. We don't have before pesach chalikas either.
We BH have Lipa Friedman, Moshe Gabba's son that has given beautifully to the mosdos. I'm extremely grateful! If your his wife reading this, Thank you! We genuinely love and respect you both!
Regarding the size, it is almost even at this point KAH. Cheder for sure.

Satmar doesn’t send home for non-payment. Unless this happened a long time ago, not sure how they operated back then.

At one point, Satmer Monsey school had guards by the door & didn't allow any students in that didn't hand over a card that it says that their tuition is paid up.
Unfortunately students weren't allowed in to school & it became a whole situation.

They do that officially in Williamsburg on the first day of school but only if the parents are bringing the kids so only preschool. But they have never to my knowledge sent a kid home for non-payment. Especially an orphan I imagine there would be a huge outcry.

Happened around 12 years ago. And Satmar definitely sent home for non-payment. I know at least 3 people it happened to

Listen I ain’t gonna argue with someone anonymous who claims to know things that to the best of my knowledge never happened. A key takuna of rabeini Yoel was to never send a child home. Nowadays the only situation in which they’d do that is if a family refuses to cooperate with mishmeres (not commenting on the right or wrong of that).

You're anonymous too. How are you so sure it never happened?

I said “to the best of my knowledge” this does not happen in Satmar. She claims it did okay but she can be anyone and yeah so can I but this is common knowledge.

This was not done on the first day of school & not to pre school. Was done at elementary/high school. They did a massive crack down on tuition payments because people that live a seemingly high life, just didn't pay tuition. They warned about it beforehand.
(No, they would not send home an orphan or special situation, they sent home kids that their parents just didn't pay & didn't communicate with the school about it either.)

A poster here claimed they sent home orphans. I know at some point they didn’t give out report cards and people were mad about that. Never heard of kids being sent home but I don’t claim to know everything that happens.

The rebeini yoel was against kicking bocherim out of yeshiva. This happens all the time now.I know of a few boys that were kicked out of satmer yeshivah. Back in the 70s, my mother and her siblings stayed home for weeks until my grandfather was able to pay tuition. They still kick people out for not paying tuition. Maybe nowadays poeple put their tuition on credit cards that they can never pay just so the moised doesn't kick them out.

This is why I find it hard to have any logical conversations with Satmar.
I'd also love to understand how come Satmar is allowed to find flaws in every single other Jewish sect while actively whitewashing how their administration is going against what the DY said.
