Is it a done thing here? I have pta right before chanuka, so if most people give, I’d want to bring to pta.
If yes, to who? English teachers too? Menahel? Rosh yeshiva? I’m lost. I thought for sure people give, but dh thinks probably not. Thanks.

We give first and second Seder rebbeim. Better to ask someone in your sons mesivta but pretty sure this is standard/minimum.

Double check if PTA is a good time to give it. It might be the wrong setting and make the Rebbi uncomfortable. AlSomeone once recommended that I give it to the front office and the secretary puts it in the Rebbi’s box…

Most do not give by PTA. Send with your son to the office , the boys don’t want to hand to the Rebbeim either . First and second Seder rebbeim get minimum 150 I think , up to who knows. Rosh yeshiva , English and administrator optional but should get some recognition either chanuka or purim.
