Anyone here familiar with the frum schools in LI? Were an interesting mix of a family, husband is very frum outwardly, even wears a black hat, but my school age girls wear pants and I don’t cover my hair. We have a place to live and we need to look into schools for the upcoming year and I was wondering if anyone could provide any insight. Thank you.

Thank you. If shulamith is a good option for my girls, any suggestions for a boys school? Thank you

Shulamith expects no co-ed activities outside school and I don't think most families would wear pants.

Ok this is good to know. We don’t encourage co-ed activities.

My daughters are in Shulamith and no one wears pants past preschool. They have friends in HALB who do wear pants. HALB has both boys and girls but they're separated for classes and most activities, and the HALB high schools are completely separated. There's also HAFTR, but I'm not sure your husband would be comfortable there.

HAFTR is not an option for us for a myriad of reasons. This information was very helpful, thank you very much.
