Here are some Israeli salad variations. I make these for salatim on Shabbat
White shredded cabbage, a little bit of corn, mayo , salt pepper
White shredded cabbage, finely chopped cilantro, lemon , olive oil, salt
Purple cabbage, mayo, tsp lemon juice, salt, sugar if you like
Purple cabbage, olive oil, lemon juice, salt. Sometimes I add pine nuts or cried cranberries if I’m in the mood

1 bag white or green cabbage
1 cup shredded carrots
1 bundle scallions, sliced
1 cup toasted sesame seeds
1 large onion, sliced and sautéed
Dressing:
1/2 c. Soy sauce or aminos
1/3 c. Sesame oil
2 T honey or brown sugar
1 T garlic powder
1 T ginger
Sprinkle of salt and pepper

1/2c oil
1/2 c sugar or substitute
1/2 vinegar or lemon juice
Add on top before serving slivered roasted almonds OR toasted sesame seeds OR toasted ramen noodles
