My husband is part of a shiur and the group is making a siyum. The wives are invited. It will be in someone’s house. Milchig I think… not fancy.

That’s what I thought but suddenly as I’m getting dressed I was doubting myself and picturing everyone coming in shabbos clothing and I would be the only one not dressed up…

You can do simple shabbos like skirt and knit sweater top.
Or better weekday

Well that’s the thing. I hear my parents voices in the background telling me that. I remember listening to them when I was very young and sticking out at school events on motzei shabbos so I’m never so sure what to do now as an adult.
