That is interesting as I know a Raizy that is also called Shoshana as they’re interchangeable. But technically they’re really separate names.

Oops, it was supposed to say I can never remember if it’s Faiga that’s the same, or Faigel.

I’m honestly not making this up.
My chassidish rav stated it clearly…
We asked right after my daughter was born..
We knew beforehand that it’s ok the name, based on family history, however my husband wanted to be sure on his own so confirmed!
I’m a native Yiddish speaker as well as a btw..
