I could cry (and have already a few times today) . I have 2 botched up brand new crazy expensive wigs all because of color. Not really fixable. It’s a whole different darker shade and it can’t be lightened.

Bonus if the sheitel matched understands how to color herself. I’m a very specific shade of blonde. Not too complicated.

My sister is blonde and she bought a gorgeous expensive sheitel from a certain sheitel macher....and down the road when she needed another, she got from the same sheitel macher and it was awful. The color was practically green. A costly mistake.
I feel for you.
Her current very nice wig is from Miriam Rosenberg.
ETA I think Miriam knows alot about color because her sister Malky Kopp does sheitel dying/highlighting (or used to, haven't been in touch lately.)

I know my prob is not the biggest in the world but it’s the most expensive wigs out there and I expected better customer service. I got them for a special occasions. If I was an influencer I would be given another one for free (nauseous) . I’m friends with many of them. Does that count …

I hear that must feel really awful. Wishing you better mazal with wigs! It doesn't feel good to have spent so much and then it really doesn't work.
I'm the dark-haired sister and it's somehow much easier to get a good color for wigs. I know my nieces also had a much harder time and literally barely got their wigs in time for their weddings....one niece's wig came in and it was awful (BH she wasn't committed to take it, was able to send it back) and one niece was actually told she's on the tip of the red spectrum, and that's why all the blonde wigs made her look off-color (no pun intended) and she ended up going to someone who specializes in reds....

I’m blonde and have tried allllll of the expensive wigs. I’m happiest with my Esme from Estee Wig Salon off chestnut st and it was cheap! But I haven’t had it that long so I can’t speak for its durability but the color is gorgeous and she really worked with me.

ETA if you’re willing to spend a ton of money try Yafi, she has incredible blondes but I couldn’t stomach paying 8k for a wig Surprised

Yes, couldn't remember the name but the Rina is what my sister has. Looks very nice and the color is good on her.

I’m a bright blonde. Not golden. Or they color it brown with blonde highlights. Don’t get me started with the red tones.

Cost was 20,000 together.

I know it’s a kapparah and I’m still so shocked that they are capable of such terrible customer service and can’t stop being so livid about this. As if I’m the one that caused the horrid colors and damage done to the wig. Was worn a handful of times. Max.

I’m trying to function but it’s weighing heavily on my mind.

I’m a certain shade of blonde. Once they go too dark it gets discolored and it’s impossible to go back to that brightness.

They tried a few times but the isssue got worse and worse 😭😭😭😭😭😭

You're ashy? People can really mess up ashy. I'm happy with my Rina. I rooted it. But the blonde is a bit more golden. For sure I've seen a lot of bright blondes out there. What about Chavi Russell? She does amazing colors and has a huge variety of prices

Chavi Rusell lives in Chicago and comes to the tri state area frequently
