Hi everyone! I am finally getting away with my husband for a few days and we both don’t like to fly. I am looking for a place to go max 7 hours away from Lakewood. We have been to the poconos a few times already… wondering where else we can go in the winter that is scenic and we can do some small day trips. We would maybe travel three hours stop somewhere for the night and continue on to our final destination. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks in advance

Is it scenic, what’s there to do in the winter there? I am more of a rural type of person. It looks more city like.

What activities did you do in the poconos?

Snow tubing, watching people ski, and just driving around finding nice scenic places.

I love the White Mountains in NH in the winter. Lake Placid is also nice. A bit closer is Melour in Tannersville.
