Look up Loren Schauers (he’s also on Facebook). He was a young vibrant man who was in a terrible construction vehicle accident and lost half his body. Literally. He’s just head, torso and arms now. His girlfriend at the time stuck with him and ended up marrying him. They seem devoted to each other.

That's different because they did meet before. Haven't watched him in a while but they are also much more private about their relationship

Never heard of them before.

Putting the disability aspect aside, I think it is icky and narcissistic to broadcast such private aspects of your life like this.

And I think it is icky and voyeuristic to watch these videos.

Ever heard of the Wampler family?

There's a video that I can't find now showing how he contributes to the relationship and parenting.

Do you ever see a couple where the wife is disabled but the husband is not?

Yes. Theres a woman that is disabled- short, has a funny appearance to herself, on a trachea and has a husband and kid. She can’t do anything as a mother and its hard to watch. I wonder why he married her. She is far from pretty. She is Also a public figure. Gets tons of backlash

Attention. I know most of YouTube is staged, but the vibe I get from her is very inauthentic.

Agreed.

If anyone lives in Brooklyn, I can only recommend that you make every effort to meet Sharon and Wayne Lacks, the founders of the Yad Hachazakah organization. They're the real deal - a real couple doing real things to help real people.

I’ve watched many of their videos, but admittedly didn’t watch all and didn’t watch recently. I found it weird. She started as his aide and wanted to marry him? I thought they give same s-x aides to disabled people but maybe I misunderstood

Not sure how you can compare Cole and Charisma with Squirmy and Grubbs. Cole was injured in an accident. He is otherwise a full grown male without any deformities.
He speaks clearly and seems way more involved in the world around him.
