Skipping a grade does not help gifted kids. They catch up in a blink and then they're not challenged again. Unless you want to skip him every few months. There are always stories about kids who start a college degree at the age of 10 and finish at 12. That doesn't really work in the frum world though.

From your op, It doesn’t sound like your son is in an academic school. Maybe try switching him to a school tats more academically rigorous.
