…..what kind of business was it and how did it get off the ground? Did you get help or you hustled on your own from A-Z? Are you living comfortably from that business today’s days?
I would love to see my dream business come to a reality. Would love to hear success stories to get inspired to follow my dreams whatever it takes

I think if there'd be a one size fits all answer to this question you'd have it already
each situation is so individual and unique
you can learn from others but it's nearly impossible to duplicate success

DH has a digital marketing consulting business. He started in 2014 as a hobby and it grew into a real parnassah. No investors needed, he grew organically by word of mouth. I helped him by encouraging him and helping him set his prices, but I’m not much help in this area otherwise. I don’t know what your goals are with your business, but DH is specifically not looking to be a hustler and build an empire. Just wants to be able to support his family while working hard at something he loves.

I’ll add to this that his business cannot necessarily be our sole parnassah because of how he views it. He learns in the evenings so doesn’t take on more than he can accomplish by working from 8-3 every day (he does work Sundays though). BH my job brings in the rest of the income we need, I am not self-employed

Took many years of hard work, hustling, and almost 0 income. Used all profits to acquire another business in the same industry. We are now bh bh taking home about $800k annually but we are so deep in debt, just trying to catch our breath. Imyh we will get there!!!

I would say it took about 20 years to see huge success. Different businesses on and off. The biggest thing is not giving up and being able to live extremely simply while just barely getting by. We had a drop of family help then not much just with, extra things for the kids. Thank God, extremely successful but not many people can handle all the ups and downs and not having almost any money or getting it coding. Now making over $1 million after taxes and putting it into savings because we used pretty simply. So it can be done, but not easily.

I think it depends a lot on the business. Also mazal is real and will make a huge diff. Is your business selling something? Is it a service? In the frum community ? Or online? I have seen people become wildly successful just bec Hashem clearly wanted them to. I think that's the most important thing to remember
