Do basket weights really matter?

Im possibly considering a nuna or priam, but I see that the basket weights are really low.
I like silver cross reef 2 also, that has decent basket weight but I'm specifically asking about basket weight.
Anyone have any experience with such strollers and if the baskets really broke with alot of stuff in them?
( I'm looking for lie flat, so I don't want uppababy or bugabboo)

How much is the weight capacity in those? My stroller is 50 lbs I find very generous because there’s not enough space (even with its large basket) to reach 50 lbs so even if I go shopping I’m likely not hitting 50 lbs even with buying heavy stuff
Unless you plan on having a big child sit inside ?

There is seat weight, and basket weight.
Seat is usually 50/55. Lbs. basket though the nuna/priam only has 10lbs weight limit. Others are usually 15-20.
Anyone ever felt basket weight was a problem?

How much are you planning to weigh your basket down with? I personally found most baskets will be okay over the weight limit. They probably won't survive forever if you're putting in hundreds of pounds of weight, but then the whole stroller won't survive either.
I would look at more which basket is easier to put things in and out. And select the stroller that best fits your other needs.

I have no idea how much a full diaper bag and other "stuff" weigh, but I don't plan on doing grocery shopping...
The silver cross apparently has a hard to reach basket, but the cybex has a low basket weight as does nuna.
( don't want an uppa or bugaboo - but yes, I know those have huge/ high basket weights)
Just wondering if anyone has a stroller that the basket didn't hold up with a full diaper bag and random stuff. ( coats/sweaters...)

None of those things sound like a problem. The bulk will fill up the basket before you can overload it. But some people use the stroller as a shopping cart and throw in canned goods, produce, sacks of flour, gallons of milk... The basket isn't made for that.

Would you buy the cybex gazelle instead of the Priam? The basket of the gazelle holds up to 30 lbs and it also comes with another basket you can put on top which holds another 25 lbs but it’s on the small side so you probably won’t hit 25 lbs with that anyway

I wouldn't worry about the sort of thing you're referring to. The baskets are designed for holding diaper bags, coats etc. And that shouldn't come to that many pounds. I would focus more on the ease of access. I've had strollers that the basket was so difficult to get things in and out of, and it's so much more difficult. The basket weight would only be an issue if you were doing your weekly grocery shopping and loading it with flour, bottles of drink and other heavy items, on a regular basis.

I have the gazelle for over a year and really put it to use I for sure put more than 30 lbs more than once in the basket and my stroller is holding up very well I also do some shopping with it putting cans and milk and lots of meat…

It probably depends on your lifestyle. If you are in and out of the car a lot it probably doesn't matter. If you are in boro Park and do a lot of errands walking and need the big basket it may

Yes, I'm being a "ptetchy" "spoiled" "brat" "one of those"....
But I was specifically looking at the priam, I waited a looooong time for this and want to feel good when I push my stroller.
(And I'm not looking for a single to double. Should I hopefully iy"h need one in the future I would prefer a side by side. )
The Reef 2 has a really high basket weight but I've heard it's hard to access and not so practical with that.
Sounds like I shouldn't have a problem with it though if I'm not walking everywhere ( and bringing everything with me) and doing grocery shopping with it...
