I hope HaShem answers her tefillos. I wish I was so preoccupied with davening. Good for her. Not sure why you are even posting about this.

If she was standing with her face to the produce and just standing without moving, no one would even notice. It would be like she was saying tehillim or something like that. It's probably because she was shaking back and forth that got her noticed. And therein lies the issue.

Never heard this ever.
I mean, yeah, its certainly a better mehalch to not be out there, thats obvious, but not allowed?
I cant believe anyone would be told to miss mincha because men will see them davening.
Most poskim (litvish, dont know about chassidim) hold women need to daven mincha. Its very bidieved to skip despite being very common.
With early shkiah, it's very hard!!

Personally, I'd have found a corner, rather than in the middle of the aisle, but nothing wrong with it in principle. |
Correct, over here it's Osher Ad and ever there it's Bingo.
The founders of Osher Ad are chassidei Gur AFAIK.

The entire thing was the physical location of the woman's choice of davening in public where everyone can see her. |
The mechitzah is so men arent distracted while THE MEN are davening.
Not because they cant see a women daven!!
Why would you make that leap.

Most ladies I know barely shuckle. | It's the ones that shuckle who are the ones that I am talking about at least. And some shuckle very very vigorously.

OP, in chareidi areas it's totally accepted to have minyanim in the grocery store (they announce it in the loudspeaker)
Not common to see a frum lady davening there but it can happen.

I would just tell her "remember yaala veyavo" and go on with my day.
I'd also be impressed.
I don't do well with davening in public so I wouldn't do it but if someone else did, I'd think good for her.

Op why did you feel the need to mention the specific store? You could have just said it was in a supermarket. I really hope the woman isn’t on imamother because imagine how hurtful it would be to see this thread.

Had it been a store primarily catering to Muslims and it would have been a Muslim woman praying how would you feel?

IMHO it's better to find a corner somewhere. Aisles aren't ideal.
That said I am NOT going to go over to that woman and give her mussar nor will I bunch my lips and say "Hashem yerachem" under my breath or something like that to show my disapproval.
It's not my job. I like to mind my own business.

By the way there are plenty of nonreligious who shop at Osher Ad in Bnei Brak (good location) so the atmosphere is relaxed.
Around 20 and some years ago chareidi supermarkets had large blue sheets that were available to women at the entrance who wore very little so to say. I haven't seen those sheets *in ages*.
Haven't seen an argument or upheaval EVER over women's dress or modesty. Only people who argue about their place in the queue or complaining over the cashier's pace.

If she was davening in a way that I couldn't shop in the aisle (because it's prohibited to walk in front of someone who is davening Shemone Esrei) I'd be annoyed. But if she was davening at the end of the aisle, facing the wall, I'd think that's great. Tavo aleha bracha!

Not familier with bingo but most supermarkets I have been in don't really have quiet corners. There are just food shelves everywhere. Why would the milk or produce section be any better?
As long as she is facing a wall so you don't have to walk in front of her I think its fine.
Some women are makpid to daven mincha, to think this is showing off is ridiculous. Maybe you think a woman wearing tznius clothes is showing off?

Amother green, I would feel the same if she chose to daven in the middle of a bingo game, but in that case most of the people would be seated and she would be less likely to be in anyone's way except the person who walks over to check people's boards if they call Bingo.

Same!!!!
I happen to find a minyan much more intrusive but they don’t get the judgment. I really don’t get it though…. I’m in middle of minding my business and all of a sudden I’m talking during Kaddish. How is it allowed?
