I cried for several of these mentioned but when I saw the question my first thought was the episode of ER where Dr. Green dies. It was so sad, and they had a montage and played that ukele version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and now whenever I hear that song, I think of it. That was probably 20 years ago. I was a big ER fan but I couldn't watch it the same after that.

I think she means the emotional part of our brains.
even though logically we know its not real, the emotional part of our brain cant always recognize that and reacts as if it would be reality.

I think there r studies on this but im too tired to look them up now.

I was watching Lilo and Stitch with one of our kids last week and was totally crying. It was one of the times where they were talking about Ohana and how nobody gets left behind. There are some pretty deep themes in that cartoon.
