DD has a good friend that went there - OOT girl whose family moved in-town.
I know an in-town girl (Brooklyn) who went....
What do you mean by busy work?

There now or a couple of years ago?

Most seminarias my daughter feels is an extention of high school. More of the same. Lots of reports, that Oros already has done similar concepts etc. She's not really interested in seminary but her school would like her to apply, after speaking with bnos avigail, they have a different learning approach then other seminarian and that's intriguing but she has no interest in doing more of the same, which she calls busy work. (I have relatives in lots of the higher academic seminarias and she's unimpressed)

I was there many years ago so I don't know how much changed. There were no reports. Yes in town girls but mostly out of town. There was a multiple choice quiz once a week not a big deal imo, oral parsha quiz once a week not graded, some chumash worksheets to turn in, midterms and finals. Really not much busy work imo, but still some work.

Way less work than my high school.

Definitely not busy work. There are in town girls, most of whom have a kind of OOT mentality. DD has a few girls from Lakewood, one or two from Brooklyn. It is definitely not more of the same from high school. There are some major group projects/ presentations and there is one major project that each girl chooses her topic. The oral parsha quizes seem to be the source of the most stress, because it can be on any Rashi. But that's to encourage shtayim mikrah, and "the most stress" still isn't all that much. And the Rabbi Kass and Rebbetzin Gottlieb are very very real.
