My sister is there now. It's very academic and the girls have to work hard. They attract girls from all over the world and it has a warm out of towny feel. The girls have a lot of fun and they have a wonderful program.

It's a solid seminary, academic a lot of classes are in Hebrew, more oot, girls with good middos, very well run, solid BY hashkafos but not super yeshivish though there are always some very yeshivish girls there. The only disadvantage is the food on Neve campus is very institutional.

Of the most academic seminaries.
The girls there tend to lean more open minded/out-of-town than their BJJ counterparts.
They work very hard and have really intense reports but seem to love seminary

I went there ( around 20 years ago). It was about 1/3 out of towners . All the classes except halacha were in Hebrew.
Most of the teachers and madrichot were Israeli.
I didn’t find the work particularly challenging although Hebrew was an adjustment . Just the reports were tedious, especially writing so many pages by hand after getting used to typing everything.
Pro’s of Nevey campus: socializing with other sems, central , huge outdoor campus to hang out in
Cons: food especially supper most girls didn’t like
Beds: super thin and uncomfortable
Dorm rooms small and old
I am sure things have changed, I was on the first years

Unless things have changed it appeared to me much less academic than Bjj (just from who went where).
I didn’t find it very intense (I had time to be busy with cleps a part time job plus Chessed during sem)
But I went many years ago

I was there about 12 years ago. It was very academic.

Yeah very possible that everything has changed over time. I was one of the first years, back when we had 50-60 girls. I don’t know why all the seminaries think they need to inundate with work to be a top seminary. To me it’s more about the levels of work than the amount but I am not running a seminary any time soon.

My daughter was there last year, definitely less academic pressure than previous years, could be cause of the war, but several seminaries lessened the academic pressure.

Very academic but not pressuring. I loved it! I studied bare minimum and did my reports. There no pressure to work hard but it’s definitely academic and everyone is very smart.
Girls are a huge mix from all over. Very solid frum girls but not necessarily yeshivish.
Brooklyn girls were from bais yaakov, BYA, lev, masores, mesilas, drav Meir. Lakewood girls were BYHSL, oros, bais Kaila, bais Shaindel. Monsey was bais yaakov, bais rochel. I could be missing some schools but I think this was most.
Probably about half the seminary was tristate area and the rest from all over- Chicago, Baltimore, silverspring, Florida, LA, Minneapolis, phoenix, Montreal, Toronto, Texas, south bend, France, England, Austria, and I’m probably missing places…
