My husband and I don’t have a Rav. We live in a neighborhood with a bunch of shuls, none of the rabbanim seem specifically a match for us.
I want to find a local Rav that I respect who we can go to when we need wise counsel, or even just for basic Halacha questions. Are there any local rabbanim who have their shiurim available on Torah anytime so I could listen and see if they sound on point to me?
I’m heimish, somewhat chasidish background, so some affiliation with the chasidish way of thinking would be good. I don’t like being machmir on things, more open and doing what Halacha requires and being good people without going the furthest possible in Halacha.
