Rav to answer name shayla?

Are there any big rabbanim who can answer a serious shayla about naming? The only rav I think of is Rav Shmuel Kamenetzky but I have no idea how to get in touch with him. Does anyone know of another rav who has this knowledge?

They might. they have experience when other people asked similar questions. They asked rabbanim and looked things up.

Your "intuition" is really Ruach HaKodesh and you have a greater Koach to name your child than any Rav, he gets that Koach when naming his child

We asked our regular shul Rav 🤷‍♀️
I’m not sure why it would need more than that.
We’ve asked more than one name question between all our kids.

Your regular shul Rav who paskens should be able to answer that. If you are not comfortable, find any ‘bigger’ rav in your town and send your husband during their regular hours.

I think what she means is that some Rabbabim "specialize" in different areas, some are very good with medical questions, some deal with kashrus, etc...
I don't know if "names" is something like that.
But we have a name shaila now and will ask DH Rav about it.

Oh. I guess I misunderstood what you meant.
In that case I'd ask my regular Rav, and if this does indeed need the involvement of a Rav who specializes in this topic I'm sure your Rav will let you know.
I say specifically your Rav, because so many of these things ARE DEFINITELY paskened differently in different circles

We had a similar shayla. Our shul rav gave a great answer and really gave me clarity. Hatzlacha

I think any rav who does kiddushin (or at least is involved in writing kesubos) and/or gittin would know because names are involved in those matters. Or you can ask your regular rav that you ask shailos to, if he knows about this area (not weird to ask, not everyone does) and if not if he has someone to recommend.
