Actually if it was a year before Irene I must’ve been 10 😅

Ha, I thought I’m the only winter/snow lover.

I just need enough heads up to get my kids snow boots. I gave away an entire box last year. Saved two pairs but they probably don’t fit anyone.

lol I don’t know if snow in Nov is normal but don’t forget, up until last week it was 70 degrees every day in New York! That definitely wasn’t normal!

14 years ago already? wow does time pass and I feel old. It was Shabbos afternoon and we were by friends for lunch. I guess my kids were fairly small-early elementary age, not babies.
Was that the storm with no power for 2 weeks and the principal had and he opened his home up every night for hot dinner, laundry, and phone/laptop charging? (Our principal and his wife are AMAZING people)

Wow, I can’t believe it’s snowing in New York. I’m in Montreal and we’re always lucky to get the first snow, not this year.

I love snow ❄️!
I'm just Rolling Eyes at all the "global warming" fanatics who live in my city. Why do I even bother?

Yes! And last night here in Manchester there was a short but heavy snowstorm. I was driving in it, was beautiful but a bit scary tbh! And my phone battery died. Oh the joys

Was 13 years ago, on shabbos parshas Noach. There was a major power outage here in Monsey.

I guess you all are aging yourself. Growing up, I remember it regularly snowing around thanksgiving.

The October snowstorm was a freak storm so early, but it has been almost 6 weeks later now and not so unusual
