Are boys allowed to hold their private parts to aim when going to the bathroom? I remember hearing something that only married men can? I need to know what to teach ds when toilet training

Yes please reach them to aim. Goodness gracious.

There's nothing holy about spraying up the bathroom.

If they learn as tots they'll do it as men!
They can use a tissue or but of undershirt if you don't want them touching...

No, JPF/slightly yeshivish leaning. Not sure why everyone is getting so worked up. I remember hearing this, looks like I'm wrong. Great!

It’s only a chassidish thing. You can teach him to hold and aim.

I would never have them use a tissue. If it's allowed it's allowed. I don't want them thinking private part is "gross"

My husband told me about this, it's something he learned to do. He wasn't raised doing it, so I don't know at what age it starts being a concern. I don't know the source, sorry.

Let's clarify.
Some men (boys) body's aim beautifully without assistance. Awesome.
Some don't! Needs a little help.
Chasidish here. Boys house. Very rebbish friends, neighbors, playground teachers etc. All help boys learn to aim. They do not need to actually touch eiver. Can use tissue sleeve undershirt etc at top to help aim without ever actually touching eiver.
If your boys don't have good aim please teach them

Might be child dependent but it’s entirely possible for a boy to aim without touching anything

They don't need to hold themselves to aim. I feel like that would make it harder to go.
