The dessert is on rotation. Everything else is the same. I add side dishes sometimes. My kids like knowing what will be served. It also makes shopping easier.

My mom pretty much had the same menu every week, though she rotated through a repertoire of three different kugels, and dessert was always some form of fruit, canned or fresh. The chicken, soup, and salad were always exactly the same. The lack of variety never bothered us.
