New to seminaries and I only know about what was around in my days. My daughter is very academic loves being challenged, was a bit bored in high school skated through with high marks. She wants more challenging learning it’s most important to her. But she’s also very tznius, follows rules, simple not into brands, eidel type of kid. We live in town but she doesn’t need to be in a very in town seminary. I only know about BJJ and Hadar and both are not what she’s looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seminaries change every year, but from what you’re saying, Bnos Sarah sounds like it might work for her.

Saying this based on my sister in law that went there

Neimas sounds like it might be a good fit for her!
What type of high school is she coming from? Would you consider her/yourselves more "yeshivish" or more open minded?

We are in a yeshivish school but it's more open minded I guess? Complicated to describe.

Neimas, Tehilas, Nishmas, Chemdas, Mesores Rochel, Bnos Sara and Machon Raya are all very academic seminaries.
The first 4 all cater to a similar crowd with smaller differences (a lot based on the year). Mesores Rochel caters to a more "with-it" crowd for the most part. Bnos Sarah is considered very OOT these days and Machon Raya is for more open minded but frum BY girls...

Michlalah. Many fabulous teachers who only teach there, gives girls the skills to learn independently. (In contrast - from what I have seen including with close family members, many of the 'academic' BY seminaries are not really intellectually challenging, just pile on work). For additional challenge girls can take Israeli classes if they want to.

Thanks but not what we are looking for. Crowd is important to her too, she wants academic but only with a BY crowd.

Thanks! Based on what I read on here seems like these are what I was looking for. If anyone else has anything to add about these or others that would be helpful.
