Neigal vasser cups need to be washed well often even if you never pee in them. They get mildew or something uchy and slimy. Need good scrubbing !

🤷‍♀️ I’m married close to 20 years and have never had an issue. They just dry out.

At least he didn’t pee in the bath this time. Otherwise you’d be washing his hair with pee…
My kids have peed in the bath so many times, I probably don’t know half the time

Yes you are overreacting.
Kids, girls and boys, pee in the bath. You wouldn't even know most of the time.
Urine is usually sterile and not full of germs like poop.
Just wash the cup with soap and water.
Everyone will live.

I’ll be the odd one out and say it’s terrible chinuch to lead a child to think it’s okay to pee into containers that will then be used for other purposes, especially ones that are hygiene or kodesh or food related

Why is it terrible chinuch? You wash out the cup, it's really not that big of a deal. It's obviously being done in an emergency situation, & not as the regular arrangement.

I’ll be the second dissenter. I have always had my sons climb out of the bath if they needed the bathroom in the middle. If they’re old enough to say they need it, they’re old enough to come out and go properly. I would not want to use a negel vasser cup that was used as a portable potty, and I can’t see my husband ever advocating such a thing either. Gross.
And of course accidents happen. I empty the bath and refill.

This was a toddler that was starting to pee already so husband grabbed a cup to catch the pee. Nothing wrong with this.

Chances are your kids have gone in the water when sitting down, and you just didn’t know about it.

I don't think it's a big hygiene issue (just wash with soap and water), but it's disrespectful to use as a urinal something used for a mitzvah.

I mean.. You can get a new cup. Or a new husband. Whichever is cheaper.
Your husband was bathing your child. I would keep the husband.

Love this one!!!! LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

Personally, I don't think you overreacted. I would be grossed out as well. Your husband handled it properly on his end. You can just ask that he not do it again if it's that horrible for you. I would've said that. I don't want kids peeing in cups. I find that then they automatically need to pee in a cup during every bath. Becomes a habit. Ewww. I would be grossed out too!
