DH was giving our toddler a bath and he started to pee. He didn't want to change the bathwater so he gave him a negel vasser cup to make in. I find that so gross and was really upset with him. Am I overreacting or not?

Of course you're overreacting, what is the big deal? I've done the same, for a kid even older than a toddler. No biggie.

How do you clean the cup afterwards? Feels yuck to use it to wash hands now.

Overreacting just wash it well with soap. You can leave it soaking in soap for a bit.

I think males have different ideas when it comes to gross LOL. Get another cup if you want. You can get a plastic cup for cheap in most grocery stores

Yeah, I think you're overreacting, tho it's a little gross.
I also hate it when adults say "make"!!! Sounds so immature, it's my pet peeve I guess

If you have a dishwasher, you can also put it in that.
Negel vasser cups should be washed regularly anyway, maybe DH and DS ended up doing you a favor.

I’ll be the odd one out and say it’s terrible chinuch to lead a child to think it’s okay to pee into containers that will then be used for other purposes, especially ones that are hygiene or kodesh or food related

Why do they need to be washed? Assuming they are only used for water.

I’ve taught my boys to use water bottles when in the car because it’s not always possible to stop. I wish there was something similar I could do for my girls.

I assume those water bottles are not then reused for drinking water again afterwards?
And that the boys know well and good that they are not to be reused for drinking water?

Neigal vasser cups need to be washed well often even if you never pee in them. They get mildew or something uchy and slimy. Need good scrubbing !
